Happy Holidays
Happy holidays, everyone!
I hope you are all enjoying the holidays with your family and friends. I’m excited to share the news that I will be launching my own private practice in January. I am so excited to continue my work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and provide therapy to individuals through The Loom Therapy Practice. I will be specializing in working with college students, LGBTQIA+ individuals, those with chronic illnesses and disabilities, and those who are grieving. I founded The Loom Therapy Practice because of my belief that we are all interwoven and need supportive relationships to learn about ourselves, others, and the world. This belief is deeply connected to our Rose Foundation community. While CF can be an isolating disease because of the infection control guidelines for those with CF, I never felt alone. My family and this community has always been there for me and I have always felt so surrounded by love. One of my hopes for my clinical work is that my clients will experience support and encouragement as they find their own sense of belonging and community.
I am so thrilled to be joining the community of psychotherapists and wellness professionals at Empowered Spaces. It feels like a dream come true that I will get to be working in the same space as both of my sisters.
Thank you for all of your continued support of me, my family, and all those who are living with CF. There have been such tremendous changes within the CF community over the last several years with improved treatments. None of that would have been possible without your support.
Love,
Katie
