The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is excited to announce the launch of the Impact Grant Program. As we expand our mission to include not only finding a cure but also helping people to live full and productive lives, we are identifying programs, tools and initiatives to support people with CF and their families. We cannot do this alone, and we know that so many of you are already serving people with CF and their families in important ways.
Our community is full of people with unique talents and strong ideas, and we want to support you. The Impact Grant Program provides up to $10,000 per year to individuals or organizations that benefit the CF community. Successful grant applications will meet program requirements and will be selected through an external review process.
To be eligible for an Impact Grant, the program or project must:
- Contribute to the mission of the CF Foundation
- Benefit a significant number of individuals in the CF community or an underserved segment of the CF community
- Be centered around people with CF and/or their families
- Include active and ongoing stakeholder involvement
- Be original
- Have a description and general understanding of the necessary processes and resources needed to implement and disseminate the program/project
- Not be dedicated to clinical or basic research and will not be used solely to purchase equipment
- At this time, grants will only be considered for U.S. citizens or those holding a U.S. permanent visa.
All applications will be evaluated by the CF Adult Advisory Council, an external review panel.
Applications will be accepted twice annually. Deadlines are: Monday, May 30, 2016 and Monday, Oct. 31, 2016. Applicants must provide an application cover page, program or project description, budget and justification, resume and letter of support.
Send an e-mail to [email protected] to request the application.
